Over the years, Savannah Tank has earned a reputation with its customers for outstanding product quality, and while we pride ourselves on this reputation, we work continuously to improve in every facet of our business, and quality is no exception. Our quality is a result of ongoing commitment to three critical components: our people, our processes, and rigorous testing and inspection.
Skilled Team A critical component of our superior quality is our team of highly skilled fabricators. All our welders are certified to ASME standards, and our extensive experience designing and constructing tanks and process equipment helps us build quality into each step of the production process. Decades of experience have taught us that you have to have the right people to get the job
Robust Processes The backbone of our quality output is our ASME-certified quality control manual, which covers engineering, procurement, welding, fabrication, inspection, testing, and repair. This manual, and the processes that underlie it, help ensure that everything we do meets the applicable specs and standards. As a result, we hold ASME Section VIII Division 1 “U” and “R” stamps, and also fabricate to API 650, API 620, and AWS codes.
Rigorous Testing Finally, we utilize a wide array of NDT (non-destructive test) and inspection techniques to ensure that our materials and workmanship meet customer expectations and conform to applicable codes. We routinely perform ultrasonic, liquid dye penetrant, X-ray, and magnetic particle tests, as well as hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests. In addition, where required, we utilize authorized, ASME certified inspectors to insure our product and process quality.
If a high level of quality is important to your next project, please contact us today and let us help you achieve your quality goals while keeping your project on schedule and on budget.
