Expanded Capability: Savannah Tank and Equipment Private Limited (India)
To support growing customer demand and broaden our product offering, Savannah Tank expanded its global footprint through the acquisition of two established fabricators—DD Enterprise and Ami Engineers—in Ahmedabad, India. These operations were combined into a new Savannah Tank facility and further strengthened through major investments in equipment, systems, and experienced management.
This expansion allows us to increase capacity and offer a wider range of products, including

while maintaining the engineering discipline and quality standards that define Savannah Tank. Robust quality processes implemented at the facility enabled the operation to achieve ASME certification in November, 2025, further aligning it with our U.S. standards.
Our India operation functions as an integrated extension of Savannah Tank—enhancing capability and flexibility while preserving the same level of quality, oversight, and customer service across every project.

Absolutely. If you can give us a few basic details about your requirements, we will be happy to work with you so that we understand your needs and can put a proposal together for you. Some of the things we will need to know include:
- Approximate size (dimensions or volume required)
- Internal and external pressure requirements (if any)
- Density of the contents
- Material of construction (stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.)
- Vertical or horizontal orientation
- Means of support (legs, side supports, skirt, saddles, etc.)
- Approximate number and size of nozzles and manways required
- Geographic location of the tank (for wind and seismic calculations)
- Any additional design requirements such as external jackets, internal coils, mixer, ladder, handrails, etc.
After gaining a thorough understanding of your particular design requirements, the team at our pressure vessel company performs a set of detailed calculations that guide us in determining the design and thickness of each structural component on your equipment.
For storage tanks, the calculations assure our designs conform to standards set forth by the American Petroleum Institute (API). For pressure vessels, the calculations comply with Section VIII, Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
As your custom pressure tank manufacturer, we can build your tank, pressure vessel, or process equipment in a range of steels, including:

We can assist you with cost tradeoffs between different materials and can suggest different options for you to consider, but we cannot advise you on a material’s compatibility or suitability for your particular application.
