Savannah Tank Makes Acquisitions in India to Add Capacity and Expand Product Range

We are very excited to announce that Savannah Tank has acquired DD Enterprises and AMI Engineers, two well-respected pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication companies based in Ahmedabad, India.  These acquisitions will enable us to serve our customers better by expanding our product range into heat exchangers, polished equipment, and modular systems.    

With these acquisitions, we have formed Savannah Tank & Equipment Private Limited, our new India-based manufacturing and engineering operation, and we are in the process of relocating and consolidating DD and AMI into a brand new, 20,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in the Ahmedabad area.  Our new facility is scheduled to open in mid-August, and we anticipate having our ASME U and R stamps shortly thereafter.  

Our new operation in India will complement our existing operations in Savannah, allowing for increased production capacity while maintaining the high quality standards our customers have come to expect.  The move brings together more than 20 years of India-based pressure vessel engineering and fabrication experience with Savannah Tank’s 30 years of manufacturing excellence, our U.S.-based customer service and support operation, our demanding quality standards, and our rigorous management process.  The result is a larger, more capable organization, with more products and services to offer our customers than ever before.  

Most importantly, every product we sell, regardless of its country of manufacture, is backed by Savannah Tank’s warranty and our U.S.-based customer support infrastructure.  We confidently stand behind every piece of equipment that carries the Savannah Tank name.
